Paola Delfin
Paola Delfin is a street artist mainly inspired by illustrations, organic forms and unusual materials. From a young age on she always had a pencil and paper to visualize her imagination and bring it to paper. She was born and grew up in Mexico City. You can find her art in cities all over the world. Her art is all about beauty and feminine sensibility and most likely monochromatic. I choose Paola Delfin because I think she creates beautiful art and that you can see that she is trying to spread the unity and bonding between family and friends but also the strength and feelings of a person. The main reason why this artist got my attention was that she, first painted all of her art on buildings or walls and I think it is very impressive, and second she paints everything in different values.

Intro to drawing project 1
Most Helpful warm up
Most helpful warm up: Pen Cubes
Personally i think the most helpful warm up was the Pen Cubes because it helped me to get new opportunities to draw with a pen and also that I actually like drawing with a pen, which I normally wouldn't have done. It also is easier to get the values right with more or less. My favorite was the stippiling even thought it takes a long time and the bigger the art work is the longer it takes.

Pros and cons pencil drawing, charcoal drawing, pen drawing
Pencil Drawing:
- Pros: easy to erase mistakes, easiest method, no need for a lot of supplies
- Cons: slower process, you can't layer colors, you can't draw over mistakes like you can with paint
Charcoal Drawing:
- Pros: shadowing is very easy, good to show the contrast between dark and light
- Cons: it lubricates easily, it's a bit more difficult, hands will get dirty
Pen Drawing:
- Pros: clean result, fine lines, more detail, no lubrication
- Cons: hard to correct or erase mistakes, will take a while depending on what you're drawing, will need a sketch most of the time
